Praise is what I do
Praise is more than a song, more than a melody, and more than a moment in a Sunday service, it is a lifestyle. It is the posture of a heart that has learned to trust God in every season. For many of us, praise has become the very language through which we breathe, heal, rise, and walk forward in faith. This is why we boldly say, “Praise is what I do.”
Praise in Every Season.
It’s easy to praise when life is going well when prayers are answered, doors are opening, and blessings overflow. But true praise is tested in the quiet valleys, the uncertain places, and the nights when tears fall heavier than words. Yet even there, praise becomes our anchor. Praise reminds us that God is present. Praise shifts our focus from our situation to our Savior. When we choose to worship through the storm, we declare: “My hope is not in what I see. My faith is in who God is.”
Praise as a Weapon
Every believer eventually learns this: praise fights battles we cannot see, 'coz praise is the water our enemies drown in. When we worship, we invite God’s presence into our situation. Chains break. Fear loses strength. Peace rises. The enemy’s voice grows silent. Praise is spiritual warfare wrapped in gratitude. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can say in a hard moment is simply: “Lord, I praise You anyway.”Recent Posts
